Behind Kratone
Since 1990
Kratone is a small company with a lot of passion for our work, located in the Republic of Cyprus, a Mediterranean island and member of the European Union (EU). Our work focuses mainly on the department of exterior and interior fit-outs of renowned 5-Star Hotels and exclusive houses on the island, with a history of 34 years in this field.
Since the beginning, our aim was always to adapt and upgrade our work hence it’s important for us to do something different each day in order to discover new themes related to our work.
Our vision is to constantly evolve. An important key to succeed in this was our ability to work with different materials such as wood, metal, steel and rock, with the help of the technology we have available in our workshop, that includes machines with CNC technology.

With a unique style and structure and a customisation ability, we are moving towards the future with an evolutionary solution for living spaces.
As a company we cooperate with our partner company abroad to import the raw materials necessary and manufacture your living space in our factory located in Cyprus, based on research, to be able to build the house with all the necessary works needed for waterproof-fireproof-energy A certificates that are required for the European standards-Cyprus for all necessary home licensing.

The idea to create our Style Homes came from the need to create one durable, secure, resistant and environmentally friendly prefabricated house in a module with a modern and convenient design that gives our customers the ability to grow and modify it according to their needs.
Another very important thing in this idea was that the space that we must create in our factory must have the possibility to be loaded on the truck in modules, ready to be delivered in any environment and ready to be installed on-site. Combining these factors, the idea to find the solution for the design came from the word INFINITY.
We create one module from scratch that can be a part of endless possibilities to create something bigger that can develop into something even bigger, so in the end it becomes a unique space for any commercial, residential or investment purpose.

Benefits
The high-strength columns, beams, walls and other load-bearing constructions resist the impact of wind pressure and vibration making it secure in any environment-it can withstand wind pressure even up to level 9.
All the metal frame surrounding the whole house 360 is covered by fireproof materials, exteriorly-by cement boards and interiorly-by fire gypsum, to take the level of protection for Certificates Fire-resistance rating.
1st step- before the fire resistance protection we enclose in frame 2 layers of rock wool 60mm each. 2nd step-after the fire resistance process we enclose with water-resistance Polyurea to protect the body from waters. 3rd step-Before we install the facade with aluminium panels we make thermal facade with 80mm foam board eco to take the level for Energy rating-A certificates.
The external aluminium alloy material has great corrosion resistance. The material has been specially treated, making the aluminium panel a resistant cover, with good airtightness.
The double glazing glass used in aluminium doors and the sound insulation materials used in the walls provide a quiet indoor living environment for residents.
Certificates that are obtained for the customer to be able to proceed with their necessary licensing and permits.
The integrated smart system allows the control of the whole space in an easy and efficient way. Smart control of the Lighting, the entryway, the security, the bedroom, bathroom and of the electric curtains is easily permitted, even remotely through the APP.
With an aesthetic feeling both exteriorly and interiorly, a modern design in addition to functionality, our Style Homes emit a luxurious energy for an enjoyable and memorable stay.
The layout and facilities included provide a convenient and functional environment for any purpose and any needs.
We manufacture with strict standards to ensure the stability and durability of the main metal frame and additionally we follow the fireproof rules and processes to protect the main frame in case of fire, while simultaneously ensuring its durability since it’s enclosed and does not come into contact with external weather conditions.
For waterproof protection we use 2 levels of protection-1st level is that we use Polyurea spray to cover the whole house before we install the final facade of aluminium panels.
2nd level is after installing the final facade of aluminium panels, we enclose the gaps between each panel with a special silicone suitable for external conditions.
We pay attention to insulation- we enclose two layers of rockwool around the whole house perimetrically and we enclose with an extra 80mm foam board eco or rockwool to achieve the standards needed for the house to be Energy Rating –A efficient.
In the case of electrical installation, we use all rules applied for quality and safety, with European standards and in compliance with EAC standards, so that it can be electrified by the electricity authority.
We follow strict standards also in the plumbing installation, to avoid any damage in the future.
All KRATONE modular homes come with a 2-year warranty on mechanical, electrical and plumbing system defects, as well as any moisture or water leaks. The 2-year warranty applies also to the entire modular house and covers any defects in workmanship and materials, except those clearly caused by misuse or accidental damage. Each Air-Conditioning system comes with a factory warranty, depending on the brand chosen.
